Began his LIC career in December 1985 and served until December 2020.
From April 2019 to December 2020, he was the Executive Director (North Zone), heading LIC’s operations in the Northern region from New Delhi, overseeing 17 divisional offices and managing over 15500 employees and ~1,81,000 agents.
Prior to that, he was Director of Zonal Training Centre, North Zone (Gurugram) from May 2018 to April 2019, designing training modules for LIC employees, marketing officials, and field workforce.
He has held various regional and zonal leadership roles in marketing, personnel & industrial relations, and product verticals across states such as Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh.

Known for his strength in knowledge management, training, operations, and sales leadership within LIC.
Played a key role in launching training modules for marketing officials and the sales force, many of which were later adopted across India’s LIC network.
Frequently invited as a motivational speaker and presenter in domains like life insurance sales & marketing, agent leadership, industrial relations, customer relationships, and multi-channel distribution.
Exercised negotiation skills in trade union disputes, improved personnel relations, and led initiatives to enhance efficiency, engagement, and revenue performance.
