Kamlesh Gurbuxani – Ex LIC Development Officer & Trainer (Mumbai)

Kamlesh Gurbuxani, popularly known as Kamlesh Guru, is a veteran of the Life Insurance industry from Mumbai. With over 30 years of experience as an LIC Development Officer, he took Voluntary Retirement (VRS) in April 2019 to dedicate himself full-time to training and mentoring LIC Advisors and Development Officers.

During his tenure with LIC, Kamlesh Gurbuxani played a key role in recruiting, developing, and training insurance advisors, helping many of them achieve consistent success. After retirement, he launched his mission to enhance the public image of LIC Advisors by equipping them with the right knowledge, tools, and digital systems.

📚 Author & Knowledge Creator

  • Compiled the famous motivational and training book series “PRERANA” exclusively for LIC advisors.

  • Published DISHA and other guides to support agents in recruitment, training, and professional growth.

  • Created the PRERANA eBooks App, making his work accessible to insurance professionals across India.

🌐 Community Initiatives

  • Founder of KG’s HUB, an online community for LIC Development Officers and Senior Business Associates (SBAs).

  • Conducts live webinars, workshops, and digital training programs to help advisors and DOs become tech-savvy, efficient, and result-oriented.

  • His community now includes 500+ Development Officers and SBAs who are benefiting from his mentorship.

  • Among the first LIC Development Officers in India to achieve the CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation.

  • Widely respected as “Guru” in LIC circles for his training excellence and motivational guidance.
